Description Of Primary DutiesMissouri State University-West Plains seeks a per course instructor to teach an introductory theatre appreciation course seated or online.

Responsibilities will include teaching assigned courses, grading student’s work in a timely manner, being available for student assistance relating to course(s), submitting mid-term and final grades by the due date/time, submitting course assessment(s) by the stipulated deadline, and participating in required training.

Per-course faculty members are appointed on a semester basis only. The hours which per-course faculty are allowed to teach each semester are determined by current regulations. Consult with the office of academic affairs to determine the number of hours allowed.

Minimum Acceptable QualificationsApplicants should have a masters degree in Theatre, Communication and Theatre, or Theatre Education, preferably with successful experience teaching technical/professional writing at the college level.
